Preschool

Special emphasis is placed on your child’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical developmental needs. Music is an integral part of our program which helps children to develop auditory discrimination and auditory memory skills.The memorization of songs help to strengthen children’s ability to follow directions and increase their attention span which are necessary for spelling and math skills. We also use activities such as measuring ingredients for cooking projects or pouring sand and water at our sand and water tables to help strengthen fine motor coordination. Blocks and small manipulatives are used to help reinforce pattern building,sorting skills  and counting.  The Learning Centers gives each child the opportunity to learn and play according to their own choice, pace and level of ability.  All the equipment in your child's classroom, and throughout the Center, are designed and selected to encourage creativity and imagination. We encourage children to make decisions, solve problems and develop a sense of responsibility.
